Back when the virus that would soon be known as Covid-19 was just a blip on the radar, Selco wrote an article called, It’s Not the Virus You Need to Worry About. It’s the System. And like much of what Selco writes, it was prophetic.
Here we are, coming up on a year after the virus first began making itself apparent and the world is dramatically different. Not only are there the inevitable arguments about masks, lockdowns, vaccines, and hypocritical politicians using the whole thing as a power grab, but there are very real effects on everyday families all over the world.
In the United States, our personal finances have taken blow after blow. Eight million more Americans than last year are now living in poverty as millions of jobs have disappeared, never to return. Data from the review site Yelp shows that 60% of the businesses that shut down due to Covid have permanently closed. People who were formerly struggling are sinking, and many of those who were comfortably middle class are desperately trying to stay afloat…
Restaurant Industry Warns Of “Economic Free Fall” As 110,000 Eateries And Counting Are Permanently Shuttered
The National Restaurant Association (NRA) sent a damning letter to Congress today (Dec. 7) addressing the collapse of more than one hundred thousand restaurants across the country this year because of the virus pandemic. In just the last three months, the letter said more than 10,000 eateries have closed, and thousands of others are in “economic freefall…”
The letter goes into detail about the association’s most recent nationwide survey, which determines that most restaurants are still experiencing a plunge in sales revenue. Many operators believe more furloughs or layoffs are imminent. As we noted last week, the layoffs have already begun.
“What these findings make clear is that more than 500,000 restaurants of every business type— franchise, chain, and independent—are in an unprecedented economic decline. And for every month that passes without a solution from Congress, thousands of more restaurants across the country will close their doors for good,” Sean Kennedy, executive vice president of public affairs at the association, said in a letter to Congress…
When the politicians on taxpayer-funded salaries sit around and discuss which businesses to keep open and which businesses to shut down, they never consider limiting their own salaries or cutting their own funding. They simply force people out of business and offer nothing in return.
In states that do offer some relief to shuttered businesses, the programs fall far short of the mark for small business owners, enrich already large corporations; or, like we reported out of California, puts millions in the pockets of murders, rapists, and child traffickers — some of whom are on death row. In the meantime, millions are facing unprecedented food shortages.
According to an analysis from Feeding America, food insecurity will hit 60 million people due to COVID-19 in the United States, which is an increase of 17 million people from pre-pandemic times. Supply line disruptions, lower levels of donations, and millions of unemployed people who’ve lost their jobs due to government-imposed lockdowns have created a massive strain on America’s food supply and more and more family’s are being pushed into a situation of food insecurity.
In the meantime, government leaders seemingly couldn’t care less about the plight of the people and continue to force business to close while offering zero support. Their callous attitudes and flouting of their own lockdown rules are almost palpable due to their brazen nature.
As California governor Gavin Newsom put thousands of businesses out of business, forever, he’s seen ignoring his own COVID-19 measures, dining with a dozen maskless people at a restaurant that averages around $850 per person.
Austin Mayor Steve Adler had the audacity to order people to stay home while getting on a private jet and taking off on an extravagant vacation in Cabo, Mexico.
The list of these pro-lockdown politicians rubbing their privilege into our faces is as long as it is infuriating. TFTP took the time to detail many of them. You can see that list here. ..
DB Note: These criminals in five-thousand dollar suits are laughing at and mocking you compliant and obedient sheep to the slaughter! Can’t you see this? Are you really this blind and stupid? As I asked the other day, do you sheep think these little Hitlers would be breaking their own worthless and despotic rules, if there were truly a deadly virus killing and maiming millions? This is the absolute proof that this pandemic is, and always has been, a mind-fucking false-flag/psy-op, a boldfaced lie and a heinous crime against humanity! You sheep to the slaughter no longer have any excuse to be compliant and obedient, and you need to know, if you continue to be as you have been, for nine months now, you will be held accountable for your cowardice and treachery!
This is what this fake pandemic has always been about: the destruction of small, private-owned businesses, human lives, the economy, religion, the arts, culture, and all else that is beautiful, decent and right in this world. This hell on earth is called “The Great Reset”, “The New Normal”, but a century ago, this massive crime against humanity and nature would have been labeled a totalitarian hell in dire need of being eradicated!
“But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain – that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case it is unfit to exist.” ―
“Disobedience is the true foundation of liberty. The obedient must be slaves.” ~ Henry David Thoreau, (1847) Journals (1838-1859)
“A government, at bottom, is nothing more than a gang of men, and as a practical matter most of them are inferior men … Government is actually the worst failure of civilized man. There has never been a really good one, and even those that are most tolerable are arbitrary, cruel, grasping and unintelligent. Indeed, it would not be far wrong to describe the best as the common enemy of all decent citizens.”
Quote from the following article:
…despite the state’s claim that this is over an alleged hack, Jones’ lawyer, Larry Walters, said “this is retaliation for pursuing a discrimination claim against the state.”
“It is highly unusual for your adversary in litigation to seize all of your client’s confidential communications,” Walters said. “We are concerned that this is retaliation for pursuing a discrimination claim against the state and criticizing the Governor’s COVID 19 response.”
If authorities are retaliating against Jones for criticizing the governor, this is indeed chilling.
What this shows, however, is that no matter which “side” of the COVID-19 debate you are on, you are still subject to police officers coming onto your private property and detaining or arresting you. Regardless of how you feel about COVID-19, this notion is worrisome…
Gestapo tactics by the federal government and state governors, and economic ruin for we the individuals, this is what we have to look forward to now, and in the new year.
Happy Holidays? Merry Christmas? Happy New Year? Not this year, nor maybe ever again!
Controversial COVID-19 Data Scientist’s Home Raided, Guns Pointed at Family, Computers Seized
By Matt Agorist
Tallahassee, FL — Earlier this year in May, Rebekah Jones, the data scientist working for Florida, who put together that state’s COVID-19 database, made national headlines when she was fired by the state over a disagreement in reporting the numbers. Jones says she was fired for refusing to manipulate data that showed a higher number of deaths while the state claimed she was fired for insubordination. Fast-forward to this month, and what started as a firing ended with armed agents of the state allegedly pointing guns at an entire family, during a raid on their Florida home.
After she was fired in May, Jones made the following claim:
I was asked by DOH leadership to manually change numbers. This was a week before the reopening plan officially kicked off into phase one. I was asked to do the analysis and present the findings about which counties met the criteria for reopening. The criteria followed more or less the White House panel’s recommendations, but our epidemiology team also contributed to that as well. As soon as I presented the results, they were essentially the opposite of what they had anticipated. The whole day while we’re having this kind of back and forth changing this, not showing that, the plan was being printed and stapled right in front of me. So it was very clear at that point that the science behind the supposedly science-driven plan didn’t matter because the plan was already made.
After she was fired, Jones continued her work reporting the numbers by starting the website Florida COVID Action, which is a dashboard of Florida COVID information, like the one she used to run for the state. Since then, she’s been running this site without much resistance from the state — until now.
On Monday, multiple armed officers entered her home, pulled her out, before she says they began pointing guns at her children and husband.
Jones claims that she was raided for simply reporting the data and “speaking truth to power,” but the state says someone hacked their emergency alert system and it was traced back to Jones’ IP address.
In a statement, FDLE Commissioner Rick Swearingen confirmed hardware was seized at Jones’ home, and an investigation was underway into a potential computer system hacking.
“Our investigation began last month following a complaint by Florida Department of Health that a person illegally hacked into their emergency alert system,” the statement reads, in part. “As part of our investigation, FDLE agents served a search warrant this morning at the Centerville Court residence where Ms. Jones lives after determining the home was the location that the unauthorized message was sent from.”
Jones has vehemently denied she had anything to do with this:
“I’m not a hacker,” Jones said. She added that the language in the message that authorities said was sent was “not the way I talk,” and contained errors she would not make.
“The number of deaths that the person used wasn’t even right,” Jones said. “They were actually under by about 430 deaths. I would never round down 430 deaths.”
